My name is Deanna McRae and I’m an artist and a foodie to the core! I enjoy eating and drawing, so I decided to create this website after the two things I love most in this world – eating AND cooking!

I’m a 35 year old storybook illustrator who was born and raised in California. I came from pretty humble beginnings and was raised to always clean my plate at dinner time. I was never particularly a picky eater, I have a pretty broad taste palette. But food is a lot like art and each meal is like a different experience for me. 

The purpose of Draw My Recipes is to serve as a place where I can celebrate the two things I cherish most in life. Art and food! If you can appreciate art as well as love to craft edible masterpieces, then I hope that my content will keep you and your family entertained. I have various coloring cookbooks, pages and merchandise in the works for those who may also have a love for food and art!
